Patrick Guthrie Joins Impact
Atlanta, GA – Impact Public Affairs announced today that Patrick Guthrie has joined the firm as a Government Relations Associate following successful tenures with Governor Brian P. Kemp and Commissioner of Agriculture Tyler Harper. Guthrie will provide a range of services for all Impact clients, as well as focusing on specific policy issues within his area of expertise.
“Patrick has an exceptional record of success in both high stakes campaign settings and complex policy matters. His experience represents a highly useful addition to our firm’s capabilities, and we are excited to have him on board,” said Impact partner John Watson.
Prior to joining Impact, Patrick served as the Government Relations Manager at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where he worked closely on policy involving hemp, soil amendments, and farmland preservation and was heavily involved in the state appropriations process on the Department’s behalf. Additionally, Patrick served as Commissioner of Agriculture Tyler Harper’s Special Assistant during the first year of his tenure at the Department of Agriculture.
Before joining the Department, Patrick held the positions of Deputy Political Director and State Field Director on the successful reelection campaign of Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp, during which he helped manage the campaign’s political and grassroots operations across the state. Patrick is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has additional training in using a variety of technology tools for grassroots mobilization and engagement.
